Assembly overview

  1. 1Cut the parts; with thin leather, glue two layers flesh-to-flesh.
  2. 2Fold the ends around the spring bars and saddle stitch along the edges.
  3. 3Punch the 1.8 mm holes and cut the prong slot.
  4. 4Buckle: any 16–20 mm (from the watch or salvaged).
  5. 5Bevel and burnish the edges — on a strap this is the headline detail.
