Assembly overview

  1. 1Cut the pieces; dampen the welt and form it along the side curve.
  2. 2Glue the sandwich: front + welts + back. Clamp and let it bond.
  3. 3Punch through all layers and saddle stitch.
  4. 4Rivet the belt loop, true up the edges and burnish.
  5. 5Finally, lightly dampen the sheath and press in the knife wrapped in cling film — it will mold to shape.
